This Wednesday’s 9am PSG General Meeting will be hosted by PSG Member Joe DeIulio – System Analyst / Quality Assurance Analyst. 

The Guest Speaker will be Thomas N. Ryan, Esq., the managing partner of the law firm of Laddey, Clark & Ryan located in Sparta, NJ.  He practices primarily in the areas of employment and labor law for both public and private entities.  He represents both individuals and management in addressing labor and employment issues.

Mr. Ryan represents a broad variety of clients, including individuals and employers in the public sector, banking, manufacturing, insurance, advertising, retail and non-profits.  He is a regular speaker at various conferences on employment and labor issues, including the Americans With Disabilities Act, sexual harassment, employment discrimination and wrongful discharge.  Tom’s work on behalf of his clients has taken him before the Merit Review Board of the NJ Department of Personnel; the Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC); the NJ Division on Civil Rights; the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the NJ Department of Labor, Division of Unemployment, among others.  He has litigated cases before the New Jersey State Superior Court, the Appellate Division of the New Jersey State Superior Court and the United States Federal District Court.

Mr. Ryan is a Past-President of the Sussex County Bar Association, a member of the Morris County Bar Association and a member of the Employment Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.  Mr. Ryan has been honored with designation as “Master” in the Sidney Reitman Employment Law Inn of Court, and is a member of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey.  He is a past member and President of the Mountain Lakes Board of Education, and currently serves as a Trustee on the Mountain Lakes Educational Foundation and the Medical Needs Foundation.

In addition to his Law Degree from Seton Hall University, Mr. Ryan holds a Masters Degree from Harvard University where he studied public policy and labor relations.
